UPCOMING LBDI EVENTS |
The Junior League of Moore County is dedicated to improving the lives of youth in our community who are experiencing the negative effects of poverty. Please consider supporting our Third Annual Little Black Dress Initiative.
The Little Black Dress Initiative is a fundraising campaign created by The Junior League to raise awareness around poverty, and the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources. Traditionally, League Members wore one black dress for five consecutive days, to spark conversations and raise awareness about poverty related issues. March 1st – 11th, we will host an 11-day campaign highlighting the Little Black Dress Initiative, and we would appreciate your monetary support! Proceeds from the event will support ongoing projects with our community partners in Moore County - Friend to Friend, Sandhills Coalition and TambraPlace, to name a few. As well as go towards our league as a whole to continue our vision of empowering women as change agents for positive and sustainable impact in our community. We encourage all of our sponsors to wear black dresses throughout March 1-11 to advocate our cause as well. If you cannot give a monetary donation at this time but would still like to participate by wearing black dresses, we would love for your to participate. Please see the attached sheet for our sponsorship levels. We thank you for your time and consideration to join forces with us as a Little Black Dress Sponsor, and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting Moore County.
