The Junior League of Moore County serves hundreds of area families by developing and supporting responsive, effective programs that empower young women to make a difference in the lives of those around them. Through building partnerships and raising funds, our community programs address the physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth needs of young women and children.
While improving our communities, we are also helping our members grow, personally and professionally. Junior League of Moore County members learn to be effective, professional community volunteers, develop valuable friendships and find personal fulfillment. As a result, members become long-term contributors to our community.
Since 1998, the League has raised and distributed over $195,000 to our community agencies. Other charities who have benefited from our collaborative efforts are Sandhills Children’s Center, Boys & Girls Club, and Kids in the Kitchen, The Academy of Success, Friend to Friend, and other deserving programs in our community.
